Things I am Loving: Part Eighty

* The Talbots Outlet. For all my long legged gals out there - get thee to the Talbots Outlet immediately ! I went on Monday with my Mom and whereas normally their pants of are the short, tapered, pleated (ick) persuasion, I found a cache of really cute, wide legged gorgeously tailored LONG PANTS. And by "long" I don't mean "fake long"like certain department stores that label 30" inseam pants as long so as to throw off tall people in search of decent pants. The pants I am wearing today have a 34" inseam! Sacre Bleu! I almost hugged the saleswoman.

* The Wisp flameless candles. I have one on my desk at work and it looks and smells like a scented candle but without the flame. Which is a good thing, given the amount of paperwork strewn about my desk.
If you're into it, drop me an email and I will send you a $3 off coupon.
* If you love French manicures but don't have the time to go to the salon three times a week to get one (and you need to get one three times a week because for some reason you cannot maintain a chipless manicure for more than a day or two) then you should check out Sally Hansen's French Manicure Kits. The brush for the white polish is super skinny and it makes it SO EASY to DIY. Seriously I do mine a few times a week before bed and it takes 5 minutes tops each time. And it dries quickly so you don't end up being Pillows McLintyFingers

GOOD TIMES.

*Cheese. I know this is perennially on my list but it's true. I love cheese. I am having some girlfriends over for dinner tonight and am pretty much only serving cheese-related dishes. Brie and Feta and Goat Cheese OH MY. Get psyched, girls.

Eeep! I'm too tall and I want pants that fit me!!! Quick, is there a Talbot's outlet in NH??? I don't even know. Lol.

There isn't one in NH! The closest one to you is in Woburn, MA. OR you will just have to come down for the day and I will take you to the one near my apartment :-)

I have one of those kits! Now that you mention it, I don't use it nearly enough.

I've considered the flameless candle thing for my office, but these guys FREAK OUT over anything that has a non-office smell to it (which is dumb, because this office smells BAD most of the time). Also, I think there's some woman who works at the other end of the building two days a week who is deathly allergic to any kind of fragrance.

So I should get one anyway, right?

I am a fellow French mani-do-it-herselfer. Once you've done it long enough you can whip through both hands in no time flat... I should charge $30 for my services :o)

I prefer to call them sheet-y nails.
Because when you wake up in the morning...they look like sheet.

Speaking of which, I am suffering from a case of sheety looking nails this morning myself.

Amanda - definitely!! and not just because messing with coworkers is fun but because you can turn down the level of fragrance. I can only smell mine when I am seated at my desk!
