I don't know if anyone else is listening to Mike 93.7 these days but it can be REALLY good. Especially in the morning. I find that it's playlist reads like a kickass mix I WISH someone would make for me (not like I am completely helpless and can't make my own kickass mix, but my laptop as I have mentioned numerous times is temporarily mad at me and won't boot up. It might be because when it first started having problems, i would CTRL ALT DELETE my little heart out until it rebooted.Hmm)

Anyway back to Mike 93.7 and the propensity it has of sounding like a kickass mix. Please note the songs played on my way to work this morning:

Wake Me Up - WHAM
Take This Job and Shove It - Johnny Paycheck
Wayward Son - Kansas
Tide is High - Blondie
Billie Jean - Michal Jackson
Saturday in the Park - Chicago

See what I mean? Although Kansas first thing in the morning makes me a little nuts, as evident when instead of flipping the guy off who had the audacity to honk at me even though it was HE who was supposed to yield, I instead did this:

And when I do that, I look about as cool as LB does. And that lady is pretty much the embodiment of rocking out so I am okay with that.

In any case, I would like to make 93.7 my work radio station but they like to throw a little "Sir Mix A Lot" into the flow and I have already been reprimanded once for poor work music choices (Van Halen = a no go apparantly).

But it is still good commuting music, if you ask me.

in addition to the devil horns, did you give a shout-out to homeowner's insurance? That would have been tits :)

Haha! I can't see you rockin' out with the horns, but it's a hilarious concept! ;o)

Mike 93.7 - I completely forgot about this until I read this, but when I was in Boston visiting my best friend who lived out there (she lives in Chicago now), we went to a Red Sox game (go Red Sox!), we got wasted beforehand at a bar across the street, and the Mike 93.7 personality guy was hitting on me, and asked me out on a date. I gave him my # (what was I thinking), and we ended up meeting him and a bunch of peeps out the next night at a bar, and as soon as I saw him sober, I realized he was SUPER short and a total schmuck, so I hightailed it out of there. Said "hello" and turned around a left. I'm a bitch, but whatever. ;o)
