last night was so fun!!

andy picked me up at 7PM and we headed into Logan Airport to meet Meg's flight. We passed the time at Jill's restaurant, located in my personal favorite terminal, Terminal E (international departures). i really love the airport. i always get these butterflies in my stomach when i pass by it (which is rare) because it reminds me of going on fabulous trips. i especially love terminal E because 1) that's where i usually go and 2) the international airline flight attendants wear much more fabulous outfits than domestic ones and 3) i think its romantic to watch people saying goodbye to their loved ones as they prepare for an international adventure. (maybe i have seen Love, Actually too many times). so, andy and i sat in the cafe section of Dine Boston, sipping martinis and watching the peopls pass through the security gate, making up stories about who they are and what they are doing. (andy: "look at those three guys..they're all gay and that older one with the limp is their "daddy"")..haha. we decided that of all the flight attendants: virgin atlantic has the most fab costumes (bright red form fitting skirt suits). i took a few cigarette breaks and mingled with ticket takers/fligh attendants standing outside the terminal. i learned that 1) the british airways flight attendants are getting new black suit uniforms and the virgin attendants are mad jealous and 2) jude law was in the terminal somewhere, but he was pissed because his BA flight was delayed. i tried to make joke about how British Airways is ALWAYS delayed and i guess that is a sore spot with airline employees so i lost my clique after that.

so meaghan finally arrived around 8:30, looking as fabulous as ever with her black shawl, newsboy cap avec rhinestone and long blonde braid down her back. we all then piled into andy's car and made our way to Tremont Street where we purchased movie ticks at the Park Street Loews and then we had a few cocktails at Teatro while we waited for the show to start ( i, in old school style, smuggled my full glass of pinot grigio out of the bar under my coat and into the movie theater so i could sip wine while watching Bridget Jones 2). the movie was AWFUL. i was so dissapointed, since I adored BJ1. but this movie just basically sucked. the only funny bits were the exact same jokes from the first movie. the only good scene, as always, was the colin firth/hugh grant fight scene. always priceless!

so i returned home drunk and sleepy but happy to have all my Golden Girls back together again.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
