it's about damn time
and what gets me is that ken lay is so convinced that he is innocent. even if i was so delusional as to think that as CEO/chairman of enron i am not culpable for the one of the most devestating corporate implosions, i would still feel so bad about screwing so many people that sooner or later i would admit that i could have/should have done something. but no, 2 and a half years later and k-lay is still all "i didn't do anything, get off me".
chris s. and i discussed it, and we are starting a band called "Ken Lay and the Boys" (anyone familiar with Howard Dean rhetoric will recognize the term). Our first hit? A cover of Steve Miller Band's "Take the Money and Run" (partially inspired by a T shirt i once saw that said "Take the money En-Ron", look for our single in stores soon...
i am retarded today, in case you didn't notice. Danielle had our weekly session at the Beantown Pub last night and, due to a promotion for Plymouth Gin, were showered with free drinks. And even irrelevant of free drinks, you can't beat the prices at Beantown. Where else in Boston can you get 8 glasses of wine and a martini for $47?
