The Pink Shoe Diaries

i recently saw an episode of "Queer Eye" where the boys make fun of straight girls, particularly their (our) constant use of the word "awesome". i brought this up to one of the guys i work with and he started snickering. his snickering was most likely due to the fact that i use the word awesome constantly. it litters my coversations like used condoms on the esplanade. i use it to describe a pair of shoes to my girlfriends, and i use it on the phone with clients in lieu of "thank you". i think that fridays are awesome, and if you ask me how i am doing today , i will most likely say "awesome". if you were my gay guy friend and the queer eye crew gave you new french doors i would certainly exclaim "awesome!!", so i guess the QE guys are right. i don't care though. awesome is an awesome word.
