LOVE Letters (and a Contest!)

Seriously. I love letters!

One of my personal ongoing "resolutions" is to engage in more written correspondence. I mean email is grand but what's better than a hand written note? Especially with all the fabulous note cards and stationary and letter-writing accouterments out there.

(The Crane website = my porn. But that's neither here or there.)

If you are into the written word, like myself, AND into free things, also like myself. you must check out this contest. One of my new favorite blogs, A Touch of Whimsy, is hosting a fabulous giveaway for a PSA Personalized Stamper!

Perfect for leaving your mark on envelopes or letters, I love the sense of nostalgia associated with leaving one's stamp on your correspondence.

Look how cute they are! My favorite is the Brooke Stamp because it's modern but still classic. There are scads more designs on the website - check it out!

All you have to go to win one is go to A Touch of Whimsy and leave a comment on this post, stating which stamp is your favorite. Winners will be picked on February 4th. Couldn't be easier!

And you know what? To inspire the inner note-dropper in you I am going to add to the giveaway fun. If you leave a comment on this post you will be in the running for this adorable note card set from Crane & Co.

There are 10 notes and 10 lined envelopes in the pack. Makes it easy to brighten someone's day with a handwritten note, oui? Love the vibrant pink and the adorable palm trees.

I will close comments on Thursday, January 29th and randomly pick the lucky recipient of these notecards on Friday, January 30th! (Sorry, US residents only!)
Good luck!

I'm so impressed that you always do giveaways! Such a nice way of rewarding your readers.

(Although, come to think of it - I never did get my prize for my Tuna Mold!).

Good luck winning the stamp! :)

Cheers to all the Pinkies from Crane & Co.

I saw Sarah's post and kind giveaway, and just for the heck of it, went to crane.com and typed the word "pink" in the search box. Yikes! I've been around the company for a long time, but had no idea there was so much pink - especially from kate spade.

So thanks Sarah, and good luck to the winner of the pink notes.

With best regards to all,
Peter Hopkins

As much as I am loving your blog, I have to say you are very evil! Seriously, you encourage the shopoholic in me, which is NOT a good thing (well, it is...but isn't).

Anyway, thanks for telling me about the Crane site. Very cool stuff there!

And I'm loving that stationery! Pink and palm trees! Too cute!
