What am I, 22?

Friday
7PM - Go to movies and out to dinner with girlfriends

(stolen from Jenny's Flickr)
12:30AM - Get back home and recieve phone call from Adam saying he is on his way back from New York with his friend J who will be staying with us for the next 3 days.
12:32AM - Remember that my apartment is an s-hole and we have no food. Inner hostess kicks into overdrive,
1AM - Go to 24 hour supermarket to pick up stuff for breakfast, coffee and snacks.
1:15AM - Arrive at my apartment and do all the dishes, sweep the floor, clean the counters.
1:45AM - Clean living room, dust.
2AM - Clean bathroom.
2:15AM - Make a big pot of spaghetti and sauce and meatballs for the weary travelers.
2:45AM - Pass the F out.

Saturday
11AM - Wake up (perfectly respectable given last night's antics).
12PM - Go out with my friend Jenn to pick up an antique chair I found on Craigs List. Then spend a lifetime at Target and go out for a late lunch at Abington Ale House
4:30PM - Arrive home. Am asked "What's for dinner?"
6:PM - Prepare Laughing Cow and Sundried Tomato stuffed chicken breasts with Sundried Tomato Florentine rice. Delicious.
7:30PM - Am informed we are taking J out after the Sox game.
8:30PM - Commence drinking a glass of scotch
9:30PM - Go out to local bar. Switch to dirty martinis (ALWAYS a good idea)
10PM - Send a boatload of inappropriate texts.
10:30PM (I think) - Danielle meets up with us for a drink
11:30PM - Bring the party back to our apartment. Danielle brings Doritos, securing herself as party hero.
12:00AM - Begin playing Trivial Pursuit
3:00AM - Stop playing Trivial Pursuit. Pass the F out.

Sunday
11AM - Wake up
12:00PM - Still in bed
3:00PM - Still in bed
7:00PM - O Hai! Still in bed!
10:00PM - Whatup, still in bed.
1:00AM - Still awake and kind of pissed about it.

Ok so maybe it didn't END that productively but with my old-ass staying up until 3AM two nights in a row? That is some vintage 2002 action right there. It doesn't matter though. J is an awesome guest and Adam and I love to entertain.

And may I say I am super pumped about the chair. It's one of those old, super well made, sturdy, ornate-backed wooden chairs. I'm going to refinish the wood and reupholster the seat cushion and use it as an accent piece in the living room. I love me a project!

Happy Monday!

Love it! I found myself at the bar (at 3am) I went to in the first few years following graduating college Friday night, needless to say I got hit on by a few 21 year olds and had an awesome time. Saturday was a daytime drinking palooza which ended at 2am with several of our idiot friends back at our place continuing to get drunk (you know, b/c boozing from 1pm - 2am isn't enough, we have to continue). Oy! It is fun to act ridiculously again though . . .

I've realized that my bed time is totally dependent on who I am with. Normally Adam goes to bed around 10, so I do too. But last week I was dog sitting at my parents and my brother goes to bed at like 1AM so that threw me all off! This week even though I am back at the apartment I'm still staying up past midnight. It's madness!

Nice to see you're feeling better again -- AND, dared to eat chicken once again! :)

Are you going to E's on the 23rd?
