Whew

Today began at 10AM when I said to Adam "Hey I am running to Michael's to pick up a few things do you want to come?" and eight hours later we finally made it home.

First there was Michael's to pick up supplies for a craft fair I am working at next weekend (post with pics of my wares later in the week). Then off to the mall to do some extra Christmas shopping (First year ever I have started my shopping before the middle of December!) and our holiday party invites. The we went over to Babies R Us to pick up some things for our niece (that store is dangerous for anyone with a cute baby in their life. My god. Can you say "Baby's First Faux Leopard Fur Coat?"). Then we were starving and could not decide where to go to lunch. First we thought of Granite Links and then once we headed in that direction we decided to head to Waltham and hit up the Watch City Brewery but once we got on the highway Adam was like "Oh we should go to The Snug again sometime soon" and I realized YES THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I FEEL LIKE so we swung around and headed to Hingham to do that. Then when we were halfway through lunch I was like "Oh wait there was a wine tasting at Curtis Liquors today!" so we finished up and headed over to Weymouth to spend the rest of the afternoon at that wine tasting. If you live in the South Shore area and are not on the Curtis Liquors mailing list you probably should be: they have one of the best wine and beer selections around and throw fabulous FREE wine tastings a few times a year where you can sample several dozens of different wines from around the world, learn a little about them and pick up a case at a 20% discount.

Now we are home (finally) and I started working on some beaded napkin rings for next weekend and have some fabulous homemade macaroni and cheese in the oven (no not THIS mac and cheese but THIS more time efficient mac and cheese.)

You would think after the intestinal shenanigans of the other night I would be steering clear of the cheese but I just can't! We love each other too much.

So that's it for today. I have to tell you I found it hard to pull together a post today - NaBloPoMo is taking it's toll! I will be back with more interesting blog fare tomorrow!

Their other store is right by where I live, and I've always found them to be a little overpriced... (Curtis Liquors) Is the Weymouth Store different? I'm a big fan of Macy's Beachway in Weymouth (on 3A) Best prices anywhere!! (seriously - go and check it out.)

I actually found Curtis to be pretty reasonable but I mainly go there for their incredible selection! I will definitely check out Macy's though! Have you been down to Luke's in Rockland? It's INSANE.
