Two Idiots In A Pod

Last night after dinner:

Me: I wish we had some ice cream
Adam: I'll go pick some up...I want that kind with baba ghanoush on top
Me: WHAT?
Adam: You know, the Dove kind with baba ghanoush on top of it.
Me: Do you even know what baba ghanoush is?
Adam: It's that chocolate layer on top of the Dove Ice Cream.
Me: No....that's GANACHE.

It's okay though because earlier that day

In the parking lot of the Derby Street Shops, getting out of the car:

Me: This is what I hate about driving my dad's car, since the seats are automatic it takes forever to move the seat forward to I can grab my purse from the back seat.
Jenny (opening the door to the backseat): Uhhh.....why don't you just open the back door?
Me: What? Ohhhhhhhhh.*

*(in my defense: I am used to driving MY car which is a two-door and thus I have to move the driver's seat forward to get stuff out of the back seat. But still...quel idiot!!)

Ok you and Adam discussing the Dove bars is so funny! Love it. We've all had moments like that.

lmao at that one. When I moved to the 'city' after college, I was giving my dad instructions on how to get to my new place.

me: Exit at the 87th street exit and turn right on 'frahn-tahge' road (think french accent there)

my dad: "Frahn - tahge"?? Cound you spell that?

me: Sure, F-R-O-N-T-A-G-E

Him: HAHAHAHAHAH That is a frontage road honey. They are everywhere, and run parallel to highways.

So, not yet the sophisticated city dweller at that time!
