I'm Just a Working Class Dog

And I am psyched beacause.....

* Today is my Friday!!
* Margarita-party at Jeanne and Chris's tonight
* During my day off tomorrow I plan on getting manicure and pedicure and my hair blown out in preperation for...
* Joe and Lia's wedding in New Hampshire Friday night!
* After which Adam and I will be staying at his parents' house (while they are in Maine) / hanging out in Manch.
* Then back to Boston on Saturday to see the following dudes in concert at the Bank of America Pavilion (my favorite concert venue!)

and

Yes, that's right. One Mr. Richard Springfield and Sir Edward Money.

Oh and these folks will be there too

EEEEEEEE!!! <-- me being really excited. Adam and I saw Rick in concert a few years ago and had the best time!! Say what you will about him, his fans know how to have a good time!

Anyway, we plan on grabbing dinner before the show maybe at The Barking Crab? I don't know a whole lot about that area though, since usually when we go to shows there we get in and get out. Any reccomendations for casual dining establishments near the Pavilion?

Wow, and I thought I was cool a few years ago when I went to the Journey/Styx/Foreigner concert - rock on!

Shootin out the walls of heartache!

I don't know much - really anything - about anything north of Nashua but holla when you pass by Lowell!

The Barking Crab is the best. I went there before Norah Jones a few years ago. You can't beat enjoying good New England food served in cardboard and wax paper while sitting at a picnic table outside.

I am completely jealous of your weekend! I have loved Rick Springfield since I was little and watched General Hospital with my mom. I even saw his craptastic film debut, 'Hard to Hold.' Now there is a classic.

Suz - are you kidding? that sounds like my dream concert!!

Erin- I will holla at you when we breeze past on 95 tomorrow afternoon!

Lori - That's what I hear! We probably will end up going there, I am just concerned if there is a long wait since we want to get to the Pavilion on time!

PPP - i'm so glad you love RS. we have a special bond now :-P

Nuh and Uh.

It is impossible for me to think of Rick Springfield without replaying the scene from Boogie Nights where Alfred Molina plays Jessie's Girl on his "totally awesome mix #5" and calls him "Ricky Springfield. A personal buddy of mine."

During the summer, the Crab is one of the best places around this area (this is where I work!). They closed 3 Cheers, which was another good one.

The Seaport is close by and also has patio seating.

I am going to Wagamama (my favorite place in London!) in Fanueil Hall on Saturday night and Tia's on the Waterfront near there is good too.

Have fun!

What a great weekend you have planned! I'm jealous about that day off. And the mani/pedi and blow out. Oh, and the tickets to the Rick S. concert, too. Biatch... ;o)

HAVE FUN!

Now *that's* a trifecta! RS always puts on a grrreat show ~ enjoy! And, when Scandal sings The Warrior and Goodbye to You, please "sing out, Louise!" So jealous, but I'll be at the English Beat :)

FIrst off - your new pic is adorable.

Second - I cant believe Rick Springfield is coming in concert. I JUST made a joke about that happening today when I heard the Spice Girls were going on tour! I was like "add Bananarama and Rick Springfield and there's a concert!". NO IDEA he was really around and touring.

;)

Man, Sarah! What I wouldn't give to be in your shoes this weekend! Although, at the moment you're probably not wearing any shoes because you're off having that pedi. But you knew what I was trying to say, right?

PS: Bless Adam's heart, I wish I could get Dan to bring me coffee!

My boyfriend was pissed we already had plans this saturday!! People make fun of him when he sings Eddie Money Shakin at karaoke...and when we first met, he told me he wanted me to learn to sing Patty Smyth's The Warrior. This would be our ultimate Karaoke Concert!!
