My cousin's party last night was a SMASHING success. Wow. I cannot remember the last time I laughed so hard, sang so much (she bought a karaoke machine..best investment EVER) or had a better time with my cousins. Then again we always have the greatest time when we are all together, although those times are few and far between. I feel so lucky to be related to such awesome people.

I'm so glad Christmas is around the corner and I will see them all again soon.

On a less sentimental note, I remember, in a Beaujolais haze, constructing some magnetic poetry on my cousin's fridge towards the end of the night. She posted that masterpiece on her blog today

My naked blue spring
Was above her cold winter
So leave that thick skin
Between his happy season
And dance for wine

Brilliant, oui? Ha!

In any case, dancing for wine is the best reason for dancing I can think of.

Oh! Per your suggestion, as part of my quest to find a red wine I like, I had Beaujolais on Thanksgiving. Love it! :)
