As I alluded to earlier, on Tuesday July 25, Adam and I are going to see Chicago/Huey Lewis with our friends Jill and Christina. That night also kicks off a mini vacation for Adam and I since we took the rest of the week off of work in celebration of his birthday on the 29th.

Since the concert is at Harborlights, I mean the Fleet Boston Pavillion, I mean the BANK OF AMERICA PAVILLION...I thought I would try and find a hotel room for the night around there for kicks. The Seaport Hotel is completely booked so I moseyed on over to the Boston Harbor Hotel and although it is NOT booked, their rooms start at a charming $405. I love Adam, but considering that 1) we live 20 minutes away and 2) we are staying in a hotel that weekend in Manch to celebrate his brithday NH style, I am gonna go ahead and say No to the BHH. Too bad though, since it lookes loooovely.

And at least they are gracious enough to have a delicious sounding white sangria recipe on the website so that those of us are not in the right mind to spend $400 on a room can still make themselves a cocktail and pretend.

Meritage's Own 'La Esperanza Blanc' Recipe

Fill glass to the top with ice
Then add ½ glass of Pinot Gris
1 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Apple Sour mix
Add orange wedge, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, lemon and lime.

Once all ingredients added shake well to mix and serve.

If you decide to go with the BHH, shoot me an email - I might have a great way to cut those rates :)
