I always have at least one person in my life that I ALWAYS say the wrong thing to. One person in front of whom all my social grace and finely tuned complimenting skills go out the door. And it never has anything to do with my feelings about that person, and the rudeness is NEVER's just one of those things that cannot be explained. Like gaucho pants.

So now this person in my life is a girl who works in my office building who I run into nearly every day. And when I do see her, I always manage to say the precise thing I do not want to say.

There was the time I told her she looked so "curvy and nice" in her dress? Hello? I meant to say something complimentary about her cute wrap dress, and instead I uttered what was probably construed as a lesbonic come-on.

And then there was the time in the bathroom that I told her I didn't like to pee with other people in the rest room but I felt okay peeing in front of her.

And then today. She had her hair up in one of those claw-clippy things and it looked nice! A lot fuller and longer than usual. So I say "Wow, your hair looks great like that! Is it fake?". (Why would I ask someone if they had fake hair in? So inappro!) and she said "Why would I wear fake hair" and instead of giggling it off I said "Well it just looked so nice I assumed it was fake!". Like her hair is so nasty that if it looks nice it must be fake!

I don't know what it is about this girl, she is a normal, nice person but I just can't speak normally to her. And I am sure that I am known in her office as "That rude lesbian". sigh.

Ha... I am like that too, but it's usually a situation where I share TMI...and the person is like WTF?

I like acronyms today.

Somehow it seems the same happens to me, but only if something annoys me about the person!
