if you don't know it, count yourself as lucky. if you do know it, then i assume that like me, you know what it feels like to have your eardrums bleed.

Awwwww. It is a ridiculous song, but it reminds me of Christmases when I was REALLY little with the little family my mom did have left at that time. They were the off the boat Italians and we used to sing that silly song for hours (talk about bleeding eardums).
So it's not a good song, but good for nostalgic reasons!
Have you heard that "Christmas Shoes" song? It's country and it's about a kid whose Mom is about to die and he wants to buy her some shoes for Christmas before she goes to meet Jesus? It's actually pretty awesome. Some of the best laughs I've ever had have resulted from that song.
Here's the chorus:

Now, I like Jessica and I love the song but the two of them together makes me want to slit my wrists.
She stops to take a "airy" breath every third word so the song ends up being 14 minutes long.
Just to hear someone breathe.
It's awful.
sarah i do know that song and it is AWFUL!! it was also made into a TV movie last year. terrible. yet awesome.
Hands down I hate Jessica Simpson's rendition of "Baby its cold outside"...like nails on a chalkboard. But on another note the song The Gift makes me cry each year when I hear it...yes that was me the crazy lady driving down 128 crying like a baby this morning. It is something about the visual of the baby bird that gets me every time.
I love the Dominic song. My co-worker and I (both raging Italians) look forward to it every year...silly song, but it makes me laugh. And it's just catchy!

are you kidding? dominic is the best song, and i'm pissed that nobody in my office has ever heard of it? maybe it's because i'm italian, but c'mon. another close second in the ethnic holiday music is "mamacita, donde esta santa claus?"
the worst is probably the 12 days of christmas, and its many variations.
Sarah, I felt I needed to comment again. I just heard the absolute worst Christmast Song on my way to work - "Chimpunks roasting on an open fire". It goes into BBQ Sauce on their toes and skewers up their noses.....Nothing says Happy Holidays like Animal Cruelty.
