The Pink Shoe Diaries

last night was a very good night:

*my amazing sandals finally arrived!



and they are every bit as fabulous in person as i thought they would be. AND they have embossed on the sole "Looking Good, Feeling Great: Too Much is Never Enough" it was meant to be! Beverly Feldman is my new soul sister! and i am so excited about them that i am wearing them at work right now!

*i had Andy, Lindsay and Danielle over for fondue and wine last night and it went fabulously! having a fondue party is an easy way to seem like you made a ton of effort, without actually making too much effort. we had a cheese fondue with cubed baguette, and a chocolate/frangelico fondue with bananas, strawberries and biscotti. if you're interested, you can find the recipes here and here. i encourage everyone to get a fondue pot if you don't have one. you can get a decent one at crate and barrel for under $20!

*I realized that my boyfriend is pretty damn nice. ( i mean, i always know it, but sometimes i have moments of clarity) I have people over pretty frequently and we are usually loud (really loud) and up late and make a big mess and he is always very cool about it, coming out to say hi and socialize for a bit and then retreating into the bedroom to let us have our fun. and then when everyone leaves he is always interested in what went on, and if we all had a good time...he is a good kid and i am a lucky girl.
