i'm sorry Miss Runaway Bride Georgia 2005, but you have it all wrong:

when returning from a plight, such as jailtime, or "pretending to have been abducted", the current style is to wear a blanket in poncho style, around one's shoulders as such

and not over one's head.

one does not want to be mistaken for one of Michael's Jackson's children.

(never mind the fact that the whole "incognito" shtick while charming, is moot since we have all been subject to your rather equine grin for the past week)

OMG Sarah, in the short time that I've been a fan of your blog that is undoubtedly the funniest post yet. LMAO! Nice job ... lol ... I'm going to have to show this one to everybody.

uhm, i know her....and i was suppose to be going to the wedding. my parents are really good friends with his parents and it's a really sad situation. i'm mad at her on one hand for running away (afterall this is the 3rd time she's broken her engagement and she lives with her fiancee that she just ran away from), but then she obviously has some emotional issues. poor thing. and her poor family for thinking she was dead or something. just a bad situation all around.

Remember, she gave herself a haircut without benefit of a mirror. But yeah, it's just not a good situation.

I just LOVE that you took the "fashion" approach to this issue. At the blog "My Lips - Your Ears" (Link on my Sidebar) Barbra took the "etiquette" approach. I took the "GET REAL" approach.

Your approach is by far the funniest. I remain your biggest fan.
