jenn is getting married!!

she texted me an hour ago "mike asked me to marry him" (this is what the digital age is doing to good news!) and is on her way over now to show me the ring. i can't even believe it. i remember eating crayons in jenn room, and driving to providence night clubs at all hours of the night (these two incidences happened years apart, but not as many years as you would think), and going on double dates with the seediest of men in the seediest of places, and sneaking to secret arlington parties and basically living in fall river on the weekends (shudder) and gabbing on the phone for hours and driving aimlessly through the most of massachusetts and through it all she has always been such a good friend, and such a constant precense in my life (thank god!)

and now she is getting married.

i'm so happy!!!
