sucess!!

after much determination and countless of hours spent in retail-hell i have found the dress i am going to wear to adam's brother's wedding this weekend: an inky-black, long, one-strapped, faux diamond accented elegantly fitted confection that makes me want to eat a croissant in front of Tiffany's on 5th Avenue.
.

anyway, i am quite enjoying my week off. i slept late today, did some shopping, watched a litle Judge Judy, took a bath and am now wrapped in my leopard robe, contemplating a trip to the mall. my weekend was a smashing success, the highlight of course being beth's "toy" party on saturday night. i really don't think you can hear the word "nut-sack" uttered by a 50 year old woman often enough, do you? the cosmos flowed like wine, and the 10 of us that attended the party spent so much money that beth was able to get $100 worth of merchandise for free. we're a classy bunch, i assure you.

and for those of you who do not know, adam and i are moving in together, so we spent a portion of saturday looking at apartments. we're looking in the quincy area because we are not big pimpin' enough to live in boston proper...medium pimpin' is more where we are at. the place we like the best is a cute 1-bed, huge living room, new kitchen and oodles of closet space. the landlord's daughter showed us the place and she had a Coach planner and a Coach keychain so i think she and i are on the same page. we filled out the rental apps and sent in a deposit today, so unless someone else comes along who really wants the place and can move in NOW then we should be all set to move in on the 15th....we'll see what happens though! is it bad that i am the most excited to buy this seahorse hat-hook i saw at anthropologie but previously had no use for? and is it bad that i want to plan the color scheme of the living room around this seashorse hat-hook? adam does NOT know what he is getting himself into.....;-)
