i think name dropping is so passe, don't you? i have this acquaintance who constantly name drops. he can't even just say "i went to XXXX over the weekend" but instead he asks me some random question, and then when i answer him he elaborates that the reason he is asking me this quesntion is because when he was at the Armani Cafe/Sonsie/Top of the Hub over the weekend it came up. he makes it so the very information he wants to give is made irrelevant by his previous statements. example:


"are all martinis made with gin?"
"no"
"i only ask because i had a fight about this last night with my friend at The Capital Grille"


this is retarded. if you really wanted to know, wouldnt you have asked your bartender while you were at TCG? and what's more, the place that this "fight" took place is irrelevant to the question you asked me. so shut it.
