guys, no one searched my bag this morning on the T. i was kind of dissapointed. i could have used some righteous indignation today! although to be honest i am a bad liberal...i think they should be searching bags. i mean they search bags at the airport and no one cares! christ, last time i was at logan they searched my flipflop! i would rather have some T official rifling through my makeup/tampons/magazines than blow up on the red line, truth be told. where do i turn in my ACLU card?
also, i have given up wearing jeans on fridays. i just can't do it. i feel like a scrub half the time, since the agents in my office don't dress down ever, and then i step onto the fashion runway that is newbury street and the feeling is just compounded. and converstions with mr butler don't help either
Me: oh my god! i said the F word in front of a client today!
Andy (looking at my faded jeans and black polo): Don't worry honey, he probably thought you were the cleaning lady.
i am leaving work early today and heading to Loon for 4-days of relaxation and debauchery with jeannie, jenny, diana and lena. we're renting out the same condo that we rented out for skiing in march...only this time No Boyz Allowed! i am relieved to be leaving this DNC nonsense...i mean it's all well and good and "yay democracy" but i think that Boston is perhaps too small and Bostonians too set in their ways to be all that psyched about...at least not those of us who do not have tickets to the $1,000 a ticket parties at Avalon, Louis Boston, Sonsie..etc. i'm not bitter though.
