have you ever noticed how mean women can be to other women? sometimes i think it's funny...actually usually i think it's funny but other times it makes me embarrassed for my gender.


this morning i was on the train, and usually i am reading a book or the Metro but this morning i could not focus...i was tired and it is gross out. also, it should be said that on days like this, when it is rainy and foggy and cold, no one looks good. the commuters on the T collectively look like a wet rat. i speak for myself as well. anyway, at quincy center this girl got on the train: she had on a reall short black skirt, knee high suede (not a good choice for the weather, but cute none the less), and a black sueded belted jacket. her hair was perfectly styled. (how? i don't know) (for my fellow braintrees, i must also tell you that she was a Pagnani, although i am not sure which one). anyway, as soon as this person boarded the train, the women on the train began to murmur, stare rudely and comment loudly on her "short skirt" and "hooker boots". truth be told, her skirt was not that short and the boots were actually quite classy..i think they were Ralph Lauren. the point is that some women are so threatened when another woman looks nice, it's sad. it's like the fact that someone else looks good makes them look less good. i'm sure the Pagnani didn't care, she had her walkman on. I, however, i was fuming.


luckily i look like crap today and thus don't have to deal with things like this.
