after much soul-searching and researching i am ready to answer the age-old question that i know weighs heavily on all of our minds:

how do i get free drinks?

the answer, kittens, is the Rolling Stones. i discovered last night, with jill, that by simply asking the bartender to change the music to the Rolling Stones, you wil recieve a round (maybe more) on the house. why is this? you may ask. i think it's because many people are unaware that the stones are the soundtrack of life, and when you listen to them you get a a better understanding of your own purpose and directions. feeling introspective? put on "Angie" and cry like the sad-bastard you are into your beer. want to dance? fire up "Start me Up" and do the mick jagger shimmy. everyone loves the Stones,whether they know it or not, and it is up to people like us to change bar-music everywhere from the white-hat ubiquity that is Dave Matthews to the Stones so that everyone can be a little more in tune with themselves. I really think this is why we got the free drinks last night. or it could be that we looked hot ....although my hair was doing a "lea thompson from Howard the Duck" thing, so maybe not ;-)
