i really can't wrap my mind around what is going on in Louisiana right now. that amount of devastation is just so beyond me, i can't imagine it happening to real people, right now, as i write this.

but it's true. people have lost their loved ones, their homes, their towns.

each new story i hear gives me a lump in my throat that each time it is harder to swallow.

like this one, about a woman who spent endless hours just trying to get her husband's body to the hospital

in any case, i felt like i had to do something. donate what i could....
