first of all, i think there is definitely some kind of ventilation problem in my office building.
last night, i developed a very bad sore throat. and, as we all know thanks to Mr. Elton from "Emma".
"there is nothing worse than a sore throat...it's effects are exceedingly bleak"
that being said, it's nearly impossible to sleep when every time one swallows, it feels like porcupines in one's throat. accordingly, i got almost no sleep last night, and when i did sleep it was fitful, and riddled with some kind of rattling snoring, according to Adam.
anywho, i still dragged myself out of bed this morning, gargled a small ocean of salted water, took a handful of ibuprofin and brought a gallon of tea to work.
i arrived to find that our company's section of the parking lot was nearly empty, except for maybe 5 or 6 cars (there are usually 20+ when i arrive). when i came in the building, my boss informs me that 6 people (so far) are out with strep/sore throats!
about a month ago i left work middday because i had some kind of dizzy/nausea spell and that same day 2 other people went home with the same symptoms!
i'm seriously about to kick it SARS style and come in here with one of those surgeon's masks on my face. i wonder if they come in a leaf green. then it could accent my scarf and my belt...
i have alot to update about, so stay tuned.
