Why I Hate Technology

I forgot my cell phone at home today, and I feel so unsettled I may as well have forgotten to put on pants.

And I very rarely even USE my cell phone during the day. More often than not it's on silent buried in the silent depths of my bag. You would not even know I owned a cell phone. Yet the idea that it's not on me today makes me feel like there will be some dire situation at some point today where I will need it. And I want it!!

Damn, little Nokia phone. Damn you for making me love you.

Oh yes, I have been there. I feel like a part of me is missing if I don't have my phone and I almost never get calls.

Not to alarm you, but I was actually without mine once when I really very much needed it. I was pissed.

Out of my 4 1/2 year post college working life, I've forgotten my cell phone once and it was the worst day ever. I feel your pain.

I feel your pain. I run out fairly often leaving my cell behind and yes, it freaks me out to no end. I usually obsess over whether I should turn around or continue on. Very sad, but even more annoying since like you, I don't even use it all that much.

I drove to and from Boston yesterday w/out my cell and felt totally nekkid. What if someone kidnapped me and tossed me in the trunk? How would I call for help? Lol.

I totally feel your pain - I usually keep mine on silent all day but end up feeling totally unsettled if I forget it...what if I get a flat tire? What if I need to call someone immediately?

Isn't it funny how we're so dependent on technology now? Life without our cell phone - or god forbid email - is just craziness!

It's almost like equating it to when you wear contacts and forget to put them in; not only are you blind, but you can't hear as well either!!!!!! hahahaa.
