Blog Day 2007

Jenny tagged me for Blog Day 2007 yesterday and at first it was a tough call. I love all the blogs I read. Any of the blog links on my sidebar are worthwhile reads and if you have never perused them I definitely invite you to do so now.

I decided to be sneaky and post five blogs that are NOT on my sidebar though. That I read dilligently but just never got around to linking to. They are among my faves though! And you will probably find a new daily read among them!

So here we go!

Blog Day 2007

1. List five Blogs that you find interesting and if you can tell, include the city/country where they are from.
2. Identify five Bloggers to tag to join in this game with you. I recommend emailing the bloggers you tag to give them a heads up of you tagging them.
3. Use the tag: BlogDay2007 in your blog post.
4. (Optionally): Contact the owners of the blogs you shared as your “blogs to take a look at.”.

http://www.thepioneerwoman.com/ - Ree is a former LA girl living the life of a ranch diva on the range. She takes breath-taking photos, tells hilarious stories and as a bonus posts incredible recipes on her Pioneer Woman Cooks page. She lives a life that makes you want to know more and more about it. I love her site and you will too!

http://www.smittenkitchen.com/ – Deb’s cooking site is my go-to for cooking and baking inspiration. She makes outstanding dishes, takes glorious photos of them and posts the recipes so us posers can play along. I love the anecdotes that accompany her fantastic recipes. Go to her and feel inspired.

http://coquette.blogs.com/coquette/ - To feed my fashion addiction I mosey on over to that crafty Natalie at Coquette for her latest awesome fashion finds and musings on style. Then I slide over to her craft blog to feel jealous about how I can’t even frame a picture correctly. Definitely a Must Read for any crafty (or wannabe crafty) fashionista

http://mypinkshoe.blogspot.com/ - I found Marcia while googling my own blog a few years ago (What, you know you do that, too!) and was pleased to find that a girl with a similar affection for pink shoes has such a funny and interesting blog. She quilts! She makes clothes! She tells funny stories! She cooks! Check her out.

http://decor8.blogspot.com/ - Jenny sent me to this blog a while ago and I fell quickly in love. Since I can’t afford to redecorate my apartment every time the mood strikes, at least I can look at and lust after Holly’s incredible design and décor finds! Reading her blog really expands your mind about design possibilities in your living space, not to mention I could just look at cute pillows, prints, furniture and other home accessories all the livelong day.

So there you have it. I have no idea who hasn't been tagged for this yet but I will go ahead and tag Lori, PPP, Lys, tulip mom, and Girlie.

Sarah - You just gave me my next favorite blog next to yours! I LOVE pioneer woman. Wow. What photos. Very inspiring. I have got to photograph my kids more . . . Not sure my house in the woods of CT will compete with their ranch. WOW!

i made the creamy mac & cheese from smittenkitchen last night and boy, YUM! except for the heartattack from just looking at it dripping with fat but hey, you only live once, right? also, cheddar is freakin' expensive here in germany so i'm gonna try it with a different kind of cheese the next time. C is having the leftovers for lunch today...

off to find a nice recipe for tonight now :) thanks again for the link!
