Ok, i feel better. Id like to thank Alka Seltzer and Health Valley Fat Free Black Bean and Vegetable Soup for assisting me in my recovery.

In 30 minutes my company's health fair is starting, and i will be subjecting myself to a flu shot (first time!! bring on the pain!), cholesterol and blood pressure screening as well as a vision test.

Hopeful outcomes:

Flu Shot - I hope I DON'T get sick like all the babies I work with who decided not to get it because they are scared.

Cholesterol and BP - I hope these are reasonable. I had high cholesterol at age 5 and things haven't exactly gone the way of the organic farmer since then. As for BP I have always, weirdly, been hypotensive. Good times

Vision Screening - You all know I am dying for glasses. Fingers crossed!

I will check back in after and we can see how I did. I know you're all on the edge of your seats.

UPDATE: I survived the flu shot, my vision is 20/15 and My BP is Normal-to-Prehypertensive. The lady who took it actually said that most people are prehypertensive at work because their stress levels are higher. I, however, have spent the past hour blogging and chatting on AIM so I dont think I can use that excuse.

Sadly, the cholesterol machine is broken. I know, I was dissapointed too.

Flu shots are virtually painless anyway. Very thin needle.

Zippy's right.. but you will get a bit sniffly - as for those ones that are fraidy-cats, when they call out sick throughout the winter, you can say "No sympathy" because they had the opp and declined. AND IT WAS FREE - HELLO!! We had them here and the amount of fraidy attorneys was hilar. I have another word but in the interest of G-Rating, I'll decline to say it :)

Hope you feel better!
