A helpful note to my landlord.
When it is really, really windy out the following actions are futile.
1) Using a leafblower
2) Creating a pile with what few leaves you can wrangle. Which of course is blown apart a few seconds later causing you to repeat action #1 again.

Said Landlord appears to be one of the smart cookies in your hood. :)))
I did #2 many times this weekend, and ended up watching the leaves blow away more than I swept them up into the dustpan. I thought it was funny, though, because we'd picked the windiest day of the year (but possibly the last nice weekend day of the year...) to plant trees, edge our yard, and rake up leaves. Silly us!
Please tell me we are still smarter than your landlord, though. Pretty puhlease? ;o)
