The Pink Shoe Diaries

a little list from Erin, because i feel like the only person on earth at work today and i am literally DYING of BOREDOM.

1. What tantalizes you the most? To excite (another) by exposing something desirable while keeping it out of reach.)
Going into Saks or Neimans and browsing among all the amazing, $500 shoes that i will SOMEDAY be able to afford, just not right now. I can't even bring myself to try them on because i know i will weep.


2. Have you started your Christmas shopping? When do you usually start?
No, i usually don't do anything until the week before Christmas (i know, I am nuts!). in 2002 I did all my Christmas shopping at 2PM on Christmas Eve!! This year I planned in advance. Danielle and I both took December 15th off from work and are aiming to get the bulk of our shopping done then! (and although i haven't shopped yet i DID already design a new "holiday themed" blog skin for this site which i will unveil after Thanksgiving. don't act like you're not psyched!)

3. Do you have today off? If yes, what are your plans. If no, what would you be doing if you had it off?
i do NOT have today off :( if I did i would be at the mall returning my new and so fabulous off-white coat, and then spending the money i get back on something less likely to end up entirely covered in stains. like shoes.

4. Sleep nekkid or no? Why? .
in the summer YES in the winter NO

5. If you have pets, do you let them sleep with you?
i have a mouse and a fish, but they do not sleep with us since the mouse is vicious and the fish is very wet.

6. What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
the decorations! the music! the shopping! throwing holiday themed cocktail parties! oing to holiday themed cocktail parties, egg nog! gift giving! listening to the Nat King Cole Christmas CD! the smell of pine in the house! watching "A Christmas Story" over and over! i really love everything about the season. i am a holiday gal, what can i say?

7. What's your favorite writing instrument? black, fine Uniball vision pen. never leave home without one.

8. What are your plans for the weekend? after i get out of wretched work, i will go do some food shopping to get the things i forgot to get yesterday, then adam and i are going out for dinner/drinks with the Cappellas. then tomorrow i suppose the apartment has to be cleaned at some point, and at night i am going to see Comics Come Home with my cousin. then Sunday my mom and I are hitting the Derby Street Shops and we are going out to eat at Rustic Kitchen. not too shabby a weekend if I do say so myself !
