oh no he didn't!

why is this guy just now making a huge deal about The Da Vinci Code, it has been out for like 2 or 3 years. and all this man's whining's going to do is entice the last 3 literate people on earth who haven't read this book, to read it.

Dan Brown must be psyched.

also: anyone else dissapointed with the fact that Tom Hanks will be playing Robert Langdon? can't we get a hot professor type? maybe someone reminiscint of Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones movies? I would even take Mr. Russel "fightin' round the world" Crowe.

Tom, i like you (kind of), but you are too old for this role.

vs ?

hmmm.......

but i feel slightly better knowing that my french girlfriend Audrey Tautou will be playing Sophie.

i love her.

am i a nerd for caring about this? oh well.

No! You are not a nerd! I tried to comment the last time you posted about Tom Hanks in this role, but Blogger wouldn't let me. I love him too, but am SO upset they cast him!!! I wrote a whole blog on movie casting for books a few weeks ago. I completely agree with you!

i tried to post this the last time too. i am PISSED about tom hanks. i like him fine and all, but he's just not right for the role. harrison ford circa indiana jones is exactly what i was thinking too. that's what i pictured throughout the book.

ps-i met dan brown and he signed the book for me :)

While being pissed at them over casting doesn't necessarily make you a nerd, it is a step in that direction.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a nerd. Or at least, I'm a nerd, and I haven't found anything wrong with it...
