Well, it has happened. I am officially twenty fucking five years old!
Last night Adam and I went out to dinner at one of my favorite local restaurants, Rock Bottom (i got the salmon and it was divine!). My father gave me two bits of wisdom regarding my newly acquired old age that I will share with you now:
1) When you turn twenty five, it's really time to stop fucking around
2) You don't really peak until your mid to late thirties, and then in your forties you physically decline and in your fifties your mentally decline.
(I love my dad, his directness has always been refreshing). But i don't feel as bad now as being a quarter of a century year old! I'm twenty fucking five and I look FABULOUS. so there.
So, since i cleverly took this day off from work, as did Adam. I am now in bed watching Golden Girls. In a little while, I will shower and we will go out for breakfast and then into Boston for the day. I also have plans to get my hair did (highlights and a cut) but i might wait until a non snowy day so i can take full advantage of the killer blowout that comes with the package (i think my curly haired ladies understand what i mean).
