The Pink Shoe Diaries

yesterday i bought myself a bouquet of roses. i usually buy myself a bouquet of some kind of flowers every week, to brighten up my desk and make my coworkers think i am special. i am not usually a big fan of roses, they are so "homecoming corsage" you know? but these roses are out of control. they're as big as my fist and much prettier. In fact they are so pretty that they are distracting. I swear , i answer the phone and i am like "good morning! i have gorgeous roses on my desk, can i help you?"


but i digress


this weekend was marked by big plans but little ability to adhere to them. saturday adam and i tried to go to lake winnepausaukee, but ended up shopping in tilton. then at night we were supposed to go to the braintree fireworks, but ended up staying at his brothers house until 1AM. sunday we were supposed to go to horseneck beach, which we actually did do, but it was so windy that we only stayed for an hour and a half, opting instead to drive around the neighboring country towns (read: getting lost). i managed to get quite a bit of color though, so i suppose it was all for the best.
