The Pink Shoe Diaries

well, we find out today that my father, james, has been accepted into an elite art school in France. He will be leaving on September 1st for a 12-week stay in the Loire Valley.
you know what this means, of course. Myself and maman will be planning a visit there for late fall of this year. My dad will have an apartment fo us to stay in ...but I would prefer the more usual mode of habitation when one is in the Loire Valley:

in any case, i am proud to keep up the tradition of only travelling to another country when there is someone I know there to stay with and mooch off of. good times.
