in the past week, i have seen two movies that have reconfirmed my commitment to be a financial success, through whatever means neccessary. they are:

1_ Risky Business
and
2_ Call Me: The Story of Heidi Fleiss

in both these movies, people with virtually no education make thousands, if not millions of dollars exploiting human nature. i happen to have a college ecuation, and i am not neccessarily beneath exploitation, so i think it is time for me to kick my business sense into high gear.

Heidi Fleiss has been an idol of mine for a while. Any time a woman profits from the young and beautiful/old and rich dichotomy i am all for it. Sure, she was a hooker for a while, and a coke addict...BUT she is a hell of a business woman. Really her autobiography is a "how-to" business mantra. We learn

1) it is okay to enjoy diversions like drugs, excessive shopping, what have you, as long as it does not come in the way of your business dealings.

2) deal on a cash basis only. the irs cant track a cash transaction, and it's better to spend your money up front rather than owe people later

3) cut off dead weight. if something is holding you back from what you know you can acheive: whether it is a boyfriend, a coworker, a boss...cut 'em loose and rise above.

but

4) be careful who you screw on the way up. people who know your secrets should be kept on your good side.

5) don't be too cocky. showing off feels good but will be your downfall. Be humble.

6) don't be a snitch. if you get in trouble take it like a man. it's better to go to jail for a few months and be able to reclaim your life when you come out, then to rat on people and have no life left at all.

7) gray suits are way hot.

so there you go, a lesson of life brought to you courtesy of the Madam. I wish i could be one too, unfortunately my friends are not slutty enough.
