The Pink Shoe Diaries

this afternoon is dragging. i thought it was almost 4, but it turns out its not even 2:30. that is NO GOOD! i was a bit hungover this morning (quel surprise) due to cawley-birthday revelry from last night. i met the divine miss C and tony at the blue cat for drinks, and we were soon joined by jenny and matt, patrick E, janet and nick and adam. we drank cocktails and toasted to the b-day girl. after drinks/dinner we headed to Kings to play pool. It turns out that even though i haven't played in years i still suck hard. i am not concerned though, i am good at drinking at least. that must count for something...(having visions of katie couric's interview with betty ford this morning....)

so work today is the kind of day where you are very busy but actually get nothing done, you feel me? tonight should be interesting thought. am journeying to tequila rain with kate and erin (sounds TRES classy, n'est ce pas?). the last time i hung out with kate i ended up hitchhiking, drinking with jesus and mary, leaping out of a moving cab and getting puked on by the devil all in one night (granted, it was halloween). so this will prove to be an equally as debaucherous night i am sure ;-)
