The Pink Shoe Diaries

first of all, when i walked into work today i was told that i "look rich" today.

i suppose that's better than if i "looked poor" but still, a dubious compliment since i know plenty of rich people who cannot dress cough cough Paris Hilton cough.

but anyway.

last night i finally met Erin from PinkandGreenGirl!

She, Jenny and I dined at Skyline in Marina Bay where we gossiped about other blogs we read, about our men, and about the ratty sailor suits this restaurant makes it's wait staff wear.

can we just talk about little wine glasses for a moment? now, i am not a wine conneusseur by any means but when i order a glass of wine at a restaurat, particularly if it costs more than $8, i think it should come in a glass that does not look like it came from a bargain box at Building 19. wine glasses were not meant to be filled to the brim, and when you present me with basically a dixie cup with a stem, it demeans the fabulous wine that i ordered. invest in some real wine glasses, preferably seperate ones for red and white.

anyway, it was a fabulous, fabulous night. i just LOVE Erin. if you have never met her, you should feel bad about that because she is a good time. Jenny took lots of pictures (you know how she does) so they should be up later on, hopefully.

and in conclusion: i am not working tomorrow so today is really my Friday. In a moment of idiocy last week i made an appointment to get my car serviced for 7AM tomorrow. i don't know what i am thinking since sleeping-in on a weekday (i just almost wrote "school-day". does anyone else still say that? or call weeknights "school-nights?" ha!), is a luxury i hardly ever get to experience. so i will be rescheduling that appointment as soon as possible.
