The Pink Shoe Diaries

Adam and I have a fairytale relationship.

and that fairy tale is "The Princess and the Pea".

If you are unfamiliar with the story, It's about how a real Princess cannot sleep if there is a pea under her bed, even if she is sleeping on 20 mattresses piled high and the pea is under the very bottom.

in the version that is my life, Adam is the Princess, and i would be the pea.

now, sharing a bed with someone like me is no easy task. i am a blanket stealer, a nightime-flailer, a tosser and turner etcetera, etcetera.

but sometimes even someone like me needs to be cut a break.

if even one centimeter of my pinky finger encroaches on Adam's pillow territory, he flips. "No you didn't!!!" he yells. i mean, i could probably sleep through a tornado and Adam wakes up if i even THINK about putting any part of myself anywhere near his pillow.

it's hilarious.
