one of my Lebanese cousins emailed me this morning regarding my visiting them next year, which my mom and i have been hesitant to absolutely plan because of recent political unrest in Beirut, but we don't want to seem like wimps to our relatives so we haven't mentioned why we haven't made definite plans yet.
however Maya is hip to our game:
