i'm fucking sick.

and it's great timing because everyone is "sick" the day back from a long weekend. which means i get to i get to be sick and indignant.

i was half tempted to go to work anyway, just to cough and sneeze and drip all over my co-workers for a few hours just so they would know that i am Really Ill and not on some four-day bender in the Cape.

but gas prices being what they are, theatrics can take a backseat for now.

but it's true. i have a terror of a sinus infection coupled with some kind of flu, and probably malaria and sleeping sickness and yellow fever to boot.

damn those tse-tse flies!

in any case, i have the rare combination of illness that renders me achy, weak, incoherent and TOTALLY AWAKE. i've been up since 4AM and i'm still tickin'. plus the AC is starting to pack it in after being kept continuously running since May so it is HOT in here which is not really conducive to feeling good. but that could be my 100.5 degree fever talking.

at least Sex and the City season 2 is On Demand as of yesterday. so i have that going for me.
