i'm a tad hungover this morning, and it really doesn't helo that there is construction going on in the suite above my office and it sounds alot like elephants bowling.

i am not psyched.

anyway: the weekend wrap-up.

fridaynight: old school sleepover at my house with danielle. we went to the mall, we ordered thai food, we watched lots of SATC and Law & Order and drank lots of wine and wrapped lots of presents.

saturdaymorning: went to Jeannie's beautiful wedding shower where she cleaned up and helped me to see that i really DO want to have a wedding someday, if only for the large amount of kitchen goods i could amass.

saturdayafternoon&night: word to the wise: drinking before noon DOES have consequences and those consequences are Total Immobility For The Rest Of The Day. 4 bloody marys in the morning + attempting to take a nap around 4PM = waking up with a horrible, pounding, nauseating hangover at 8PM. Not Cool.

sundaymorning: breakfast in bed followed by a viewing of "Le Divorce" (love it) and some leisurely shopping

sunday afternoon+night: baby shower for Gary and Kristen (and the soon to be Dahlia). lots of alcohol and meat and general merriment. followed by massive chinese takeout effort by Adam and I, followed by watching the latest (and second to last of the season) episode of The 4400. followed by blissful sleep.

and now here i am at work. boo.

this week i have 1) fancy dinner at The Seaport Hotel's Aura with friends on Thursday (it IS Restaurant Week, i hope you know) followed by Day Off on Friday so that i may facilitate the delivery of our new living room set and kitchen set. then Saturday Adam and I are off for a weekend in Connecticut to celebrate my cousin Dawn's wedding.

so hopefully the days between now and then fly by.

"Le Divorce"! Yay! I was beginning to think that I was the only person who loved that movie. The only thing I didn't like was the whole subplot with Matthew Modine, which I found ridiculous.
