i took today off to supervise the delivery of my new living room and kitchen set. they arrived and are GORGEOUS. after a trip to TJ Maxx to pick up a new runner for the coffee table and some other "home accents", our place is looking very spiffy indeed.
we celebrated with steak and ice cream.
and now adam and i are off to Connecticut for the weekend to attend my cousin Dawn's wedding.
all of the older cousins are staying at one hotel, and parents + younger cousins are staying at another one.
the reception is rumored to have an open bar.
nothing like some family debauchery to end what has been a HECTIC month!
