when i pulled into my driveway this afternoon, i noticed there was a seagull party going on in my parking space. there were literally about 10 seagulls parading around my space! in about 6 inches of snow!

these birds need to clear out of my area and go hang out in their nest(s)

do seagulls even make nests? i don't know..

anyway, i got out from work at noon today thanks to the crazy snowstorm going on. basically it took me 2.5 hours to get to work, i was there for 3 hours, and then i drove 2 hours to get back home.

a stunning waste of a day, but i am glad that only 3 hours of the day involved actual work. driving in the snow is not fun, but it beats making spreadsheet after spreadhsheet after spreadsheet.

so i came home, watched Pirates of the Carribean, did the dishes and Tilex-d the bathtub. work can wait, mildew cannot.

so now i am watching Montel, and the topic today is "Kids with Unusual Medical Problems". the first child up was a little girl who can't feel pain which caused me to experience a myriad of emotions. first i thought "what's so bad about that?". i mean, feeling pain is not that great. but i forgot that babies are not smart, and if they can't feel pain they will do things like bite their fingers off and scratch their own eyes out. so then i felt really sorry for her..but then she was such a brat on the show, that i started to wonder if her parents were psyched that they could spank her as much as they want and she wouldn't care.

i know, i am going to hell.

next up: a girl who had half her brain removed and twins who are allergic to sunlight.

i am really good at not working.
