well, the pre-GRE debacle ended rather quickly without any candle-shrapnel aftermath, i am sorry to report (sorry Chris!) Adam and his friends only hung out for about 45 minutes before picking up on the distinctly murderous vibes coming from my room, at which point they packed it up and went bar-hopping in quincy. thank god :-)
the test went very well. i took the risk of not drinking any coffee before the exam, although it WAS at 8:30AM, because i didn't want to interrupt my intellectual flow with thousands of pee breaks. it ended up alright though. and since with the GRES you get your score as soon as you finish (it's a computer based exam), i knew immediately that i had kicked ass. thank god. now i never have to take it again. whew.
the highlight of the weekend was not, as you may have thought, the GREs. it was taking my first trip ever to BJ's Wholesale Club on Sunday. Adam's parents had bought us memberships for Christmas, and it turns out that was the best idea EVER! We now have enough meat, bagels, potato chips, juice, garbage bags, and oregano than we know what to do with. Adam's good idea is that we will do ALL our food shopping at BJ's from now on, and then we will only have to go food shopping once a month instead of once a week.
i can just picture it. you will walk into our apartment and be overtaken by the piles of bread loaves, and stacks of cereal boxes, and towers of pickle jars....
i think the Food Saver was a wise investment.

LOL @ BJ's. When the first one went in here I was hoping for something MUCH different from what they were offering. ;)
Congrats on the GRE! Tell me how you made it past the math section?
