so, i am back to work after taking care of some health-related business yesterday. baically, i had to have some minor surgery in order not to feel miserable and in pain and gross as i have been feeling for the past 6 months, off and on.
i don't want to go into details. i am fine now.
adam took the day off from work and took total care of me, like a good woman should ;-) he took me to the doctor's, waited for me in the waiting room (and this is a woman-doctor's office, not the most comfortable place for a man to wait around for 6 hours), and then when i was out he took me home, brought me chinese food, refilled my water when i needed it, let me describe to him in detail what my vomit looked like, and even did the thing that no boyfriend should ever have to do.
he went out and bought tampons for me.
the CORRECT kind!
so, suffice it to say i am on some lovely antibiotics and pain meds that make me feel high as a kite, and i am back at work, smiling like a fool in my medicated bliss.
and tomorrow morning i start my stats class. should be interesting.

I don't understand why some guys have a problem with buying tampons for their wife/girlfriend. Do they actually think that people might think the guy's getting them for himself?

I guess Tuesday was a good day for minor surgery, 'cause I went and got me some, too! Wierd.
Wierd. The neighbor downstairs had surgery on Tuesday as well.
Ah, but there's NOTHING like a good pain killer. ;)
