now, i don't want to tread on manolo's super fantastic shoes, but i need to discuss something right now.

payless shoes? you have totally redeemed yourself in my eyes.

there was a time when i was wary of your store. your shoes were trend-less. your boots where porn star-esque. but as i peruse your website (after seeing jaime's glorious find). you are redeemed.

what i like best about these shoes is that they are not that unique. i mean they could have come from anywhere. the red pump in particular is exactly like a nine west pump i am thinking of.

and i am familiar with the saying "you get what you pay for". but i ruin all shoes..expensive and cheap. i've had the heel of $200 boots where down to a nub within weeks and i have had cheapo shoes last for years.

all i am saying is: you go, star jones.

i jsut got some new shoes from payless too. the only problem i find is theyre mostly 3" heels and im really used to a 4". but they were only 15 dollars and i must have some shorter pants somewhere.

You had me up until Star Jones... she makes me want to peel the skin off of my body with a rusty fishing knife...

And payless always has the cutest stuff on their website, but I can never find it in store near me, they're all filled with faux-Keds and those black canvas slip on shoes (similar to the ones that Star is dreaming of in the picture)

haha! i'm not sure if i love star jones or if i love tracy morgan's impression of her on SNL. i havent been in a payless in a long time..so i am intrigued to find out if the website has been misleading me...

i hadn't been to payless in ages. i found my boots online (while looking at ashley's new shoes, actually) and went to the store and there they were. i saw plenty of other things in the store that i had seen online, but there was also the standard payless fake keds/canvas slide ons. i think it's hit or miss. and it depends on your size. i figure that for the most part i only wear shoes for a season or 2, so why not nget them cheap?

The biggest problem I have with payless shoes is that I wear right through them in no time. One pair lasted me less than a month.

I'm with you on the "you get what you pay for" - I have cheap shoes that have lasted me many seasons, and on the other hand, I have burberry mules that my husband bought me that were well over $300 that wore out probably the 5th time I wore them.

I'll be checking out pay less for simple basics - basic pumps like those red ones for sure.

comparisons i thought i would make (only after reading your 100 things about you list):
1. we both have naturally red curly hair
2. we both live with our significant others before marriage (shame on us!)
3. we both love to shop...especially shoes (though i do heart my uggs)
4. we both had a breast reduction (mine was in 2000)

girlie, i think we are a lot alike!!! i just wished you lived in atlanta so we could hang out--damn.
