Let's Go To The Movies

I stole this one a bunch of other bloggers because 1) I am too lazy to come up with a decent blog post and 2) I wanted to expose you to my random cinematic taste. More the former than the latter but whatevs, get into it! Here is how you play (and don't cheat!):

1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDb search or other search functions

Let's go!

1) Oh. Johnny, I apologize; I forgot you were there. You may go now. Tombstone (Good job Mike D.)

2) Is this something you can share with the rest of us, Amazing Larry? Pee Wee's Big Adventure (Mike D. has good taste in movies)

3) The beautiful babies don't work the midnight to six shift on a Wednesday. This is like the skank shift. Swingers (Good job Amanda!)

4) You're like the thief who isn't the least bit sorry he stole, but is terribly, terribly sorry he's going to jail. Gone With The Wind (Well done Paula)

5) It left us speechless, quite speechless I tell you, and we have not stopped talking of it since. Emma (Nice job Samantha!)

6) Harry, you might not believe this, but I never considered not sleeping with you a sacrifice. When Harry Met Sally (Good job A.! )

7) Ah, dessert! Chilled monkey brains. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Good job Randall and Erin and Hope!)

8) But I am mad about Jose. I honestly think I'd give up smoking if he asked me. Breakfast at Tiffany's (Well done, Angela!)

9) You taste like a burger. I don't like you anymore. Wet Hot American Summer (Go Hil!)

10) If that's the Happiness Hotel, I'd hate to see what the sad one looks like. The Great Muppet Caper (Yay for Karen (and Jeanne (I knew you would know it!))

11) Aye, but marry who, your grace? Would you give me some suggestion? For some say France and others Spain, and some cannot abide foreigners at all. So I am not sure how best to please you unless I married one of each. Elizabeth (Go Hil!)

12) When I was young and successful, I was greedy and foolish, and now I'm left with no one. Wrinkled and alone. Love Actually (Good job Amanda, again!)

13 )She was like the water that freezes inside a rock and breaks it apart. It was no more her fault than it is the fault of the water when the rock shatters. Legends of the Fall (Good job Suz!)

14) I thought all writers drank to excess and beat their wives. You know one time I secretly wanted to be a writer. The Philadelphia Story (Yay Erin! I was beginning to think no one would get this one)

15) Oh, Baxter, you are my little gentleman. I'll take you to foggy London town 'cause you are my little gentleman. Anchorman (aaaand Go Hil, again!)

#3 is Swingers!!

#12 is Love Actually (great quote choice on that one)

Some of the others sound familiar, but I can't think of them (and want to give others a chance--fun game!!!)

You have some great ones I recognize but I can definitely call #7 as Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom! I used to watch all of those back to back with my father growing up.

#14 Mighty Aphrodite.

Haha by good guess I meant good movie...its not a woody allen film. Its much older than anything he would have done.
